Have you ever wondered how the nuts and fruit in our snacks cling together in perfect little clusters? Every bite seems to deliver just the right combination of crunchy, chewy, salty, sweet and spicy.
Well, the secret is our glaze. It’s literally what holds it all together.
It’s a secret process. However, we can tell you that we start with tapioca syrup and cane sugar—organic, of course—and add real fruit juice concentrate and spices.
CREATING OUR THAI CASHEWS GLAZED MIX
Thai Cashews Glazed Mix is one of our most deliciously complicated creations. Complex tasting, yes, but also very tricky to make.
We start with cashews and peanuts and add pineapple and sesame seeds. The glaze, which is our version of an inspired ponzu sauce, is made from sake, rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, dried lemongrass and chili pepper.

HOW DO YOU LIKE THEM APPLES?
Dried apples are pretty terrific, no doubt about it. But as a complement to buttery cashews or black pepper-spiked pistachios, they struck us as maybe just a little, well, ordinary.
