Gochujang (go-chew-jhang) is a Korean chili paste made from red chile peppers, sticky rice, fermented soybeans and salt. Special variations can even include pumpkin and sweet potato.
Gochujang’s taste is complex: spicy, salty and sweet with a deep rich flavor.
