Thai Veggie Wraps

It’s the start of a New Year, so why not spice things up a bit? We have just the thing. This veggie-packed wrap isn’t your average lunch box fare.

Finding inspiration in the flavors of Southeast Asia, we paired our Sahale Snacks® Thai Cashews Glazed Mix with cool, fresh vegetables like Napa cabbage, cucumber and snow peas. The cashews give extra crunch and just the right blend of delicate spices to transport your senses to the streets of Bangkok with every bite. But the flavor doesn’t stop there. A sweet and salty dipping sauce made with soy sauce, tamarind and honey is the perfect accompaniment to this unique wrap.

Whether you’re looking for something new and different to pack in your lunch, need a quick alternative to an afternoon snack, or are looking for a way to pack in veggies after the holidays, we think this is an excellent way to start your New Year off with a bang.

Ingredients

Napa Cabbage, shredded

1 Cup

Carrot, peeled and shredded

Snow Peas, thinly sliced

English Cucumber, cut into thin strips

1 Cup

Large Prepared Flatbreads or Tortillas

Sahale Snacks® Thai Cashews Glazed Mix

1 (4 oz) Pouch

Fresh Cilantro Leaves

Soy Sauce

1/4 Cup

Fresh Lime Juice

1 Tbsp

Honey

1 Tbsp

Tamarind Paste

2 Tsp

Chili Flakes

1/4 Tsp

Step 1:  Divide

Divide cabbage, carrot, snow peas and cucumber evenly onto flatbreads or tortillas. Top with desired amount of nuts and cilantro. Carefully roll into wrap.

Step 2:  Combine

Next, combine soy sauce, lime juice, honey, tamarind and chili flakes in small bowl.

Step 3:  Enjoy

Dip wrap in sauce and enjoy!
